Again its most similar to the lanius a and the slug c the two other ships in ftl that also start with hacking. Even a tier 3 might be a better choice depending on circumstance. Its a surprisingly small tweak because of how limited you are but it makes the ship so much more fun to play. I find engi c to be the weakest of the lot. Two projectiles is both a blessing and a curse. Additionally every time a drone is deployed a drone part is consumed.
The weapons at the top of the list are consistently effective in almost any ship set up. Crystal burst mk i crystal a 2 shots with 1 shield pierce but long cooldown and can be stopped by defense drones. Now despite everything just mentioned this ship is still above average on the tier list and thats because the hacking drone control combination truly does offer a lot of value. Faster than light by subset games. Basically defence drones are great as they protect you from missiles and save you on repairs.
